CSR Policy

Defining and formalising a CSR approach can be seen as yet another constraint among many others, in response to the expectations and requirements of our customers or shareholders. This would amount to reducing the CSR approach to merely one competitive advantage or disadvantage amongst many others. I do not subscribe to this reductive view.

CSR is, above all, a humanistic approach, and it is a genuine personal conviction that I would like to share with all NOVAL’s staff and customers.

This CSR approach covers a wide range of areas: the design of our products, our working conditions and our production facilities – as well as those of our suppliers – and also corporate governance.

With regard to our products, we are committed to accelerating the transition towards the functional economy: to this end, we must focus on designing products that are ever better suited to the end user and begin to incorporate a structured eco-design approach.

We are also committed to reducing the environmental impact of our operations and those of our clients by implementing concrete measures that involve all our employees.

The company’s staff are NOVAL’s greatest asset, both as individuals and through their ability to work together. That is why our shared aim is to ensure the health and safety of everyone, to provide regular training for staff, and to offer all employees a fulfilling working environment in order to foster relationships of trust amongst everyone.

Our Code of Ethics embodies all our values and rules, and applies to everyone.

All in all, adopting a CSR approach offers the chance to build a company that is ready for the future and the opportunity to define strategic initiatives that bring together environmental, social, governance and economic considerations.
